I always have a passion at art eversince i was a child. I used to draw anything just to
waste my time on the backpages of my school notebook, on scratch papers, cardboards, and even
on the walls. I even used to outline some drawings or paintings on old books or other
people´s (like my uncle´s) artworks. I also remember making paper barbie dolls for
my classmates and they really loved it. I had joined some art competitions in elementary &
high school, and i always loved that, because then i would be excused in the class.Most of all
i really enjoyed getting awards even when they were sometimes just consolation prizes or
certificate of appreciation, and then bring them home to my parents. Of course, meeting other
artists & going to other places were also interesting. When i was in the university, i got
involved more on technical drawing. But I also learned some techniques on how to use different
medium on painting (but not like in Fine Arts subjects). After graduating, my hobby was long
forgotten. Then i got fascinated by one painter that i saw on tv. He was doing great &
fast even without thinking about it. I was really impressed. And then i received for the first
time an acrylic painting set with canvas from my beloved husband. Well, we both didn´t
believe that i could paint again. But since it´s the first painting set i ever received,
i started using it and tried to follow the instructions of this artist on tv.Well now, since
January just last year, i´m producing my own acrylic & oil paintings on
canvas.Thanks to my friends and acquaintances who patronize my paintings. Because they are
giving me the privilege and encouragement to do something that i have a passion at.
