I was born in Tigre, Buenos Aires, on the last day of 1955 and still live in this
water land called Delta.
Perhaps because it should be, like all childern, I became an artist the day I made
my first messy scrawl. This doodle was rearranged by vocation and time, guided by academic
training.
Many years of my life I was devoted to art education. This practise, I say without
hesitation, has been the richest and most immeditae non academic support I have ever received,
almost effortlessly and without noticing it.
Art has been, and I dare to say, it will ever be in my life, an impulse and a
shelter, and exit and a refuge, an idea and a sacred relief. Actually I always lean on art
because art never fails, and as a given gift, I accept it, I practise it and I feel thankfull
for it every single day of my life.
