Influenced by the Impressionists, Madge finds light, colour and space forces
that fascinate her and keep her painting. Winner of the Cornelissen Award, presented by HRH
the Duchess of Kent at the Royal Oil Painters Institute in the Mall Gallery. She was also
invited to become a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Painters Stainers in the City of
London in l977 and has been a member there.
She has recently finished building a Gallery/Studio where she will have regular
exhibitions of work.
