I received my Diploma in Visual Art in 2007 and held my first solo exhibition as a part of my
last module, “Major Studio Practice”. The first two images on this page are pieces
from that exhibition. I address social issues using the medium of acrylic sheet as a means of
emphasising society’s habit of looking through these issues as if they weren’t
there. The ideas may be serious but I like to inject a degree of humour into my work.
I have participated in many group exhibitions including, most recently, the Florence
Biennale, 2011 for which I created the sculpture which is represented in the last image.
I continue to work with acrylic sheet. Some recent work is represented in image number three.
I am also working on a commission for a local cafe for their new counter fronts.....to be
