The planet is both a wild and industrialized place, with few untouched places left free to
claim their natural terrain and grow with abandon. My paintings show the duality of the
untamed wilderness, vibrant, organic colours, and the interference of man-made structures and
the effects of pollution, violence and destruction.
My vision is one that sees both the beauty of the boundless forests, the quietude of a lake
in the evening and the fragile balance between organic freedom and mankind.
I am inspired by church windows, glass mosaic patterns, vibrant colours, ever changing with
the path of the sun. Solid dark outlines and silhouetted figures stamp a testament the
unchangeable relationship between humanity and nature, and reference a spiritual healing.
