"The poet understands nature better than the scientist," said the
German Romantic poet Novalis. In a world undergoing profound changes, the reconciliation of
man with nature has become a fundamental quest. And supposing this quest was through art? In
my artistic research, light and poetry are my two key words to find some communion with
nature. I prefer to use figurative aesthetics as a language shared by all and I like pastel,
magic medium to play on the effects of light and colour. This reinforces the poetic and
allegorical touch of my compositions with an ultimate goal which is the research of the
aesthetics of life.
