Rakefet Natanson Marom, born 1971
A graduate of graphic design from The Neri Bloomfield Academy of Design and Education ,Haifa,
Israel.
The main idea in her work is the connection between man and the animal, which is expressed in
metaphors and in different characters.
The statues are created from wire netting, cloth, polyester, aluminum and bronze casting. The
prints are of two kinds: linoleum prints and monotype prints. Both the statues and the prints
are designed with a clean-cut, minimalistic approach but are also combined with colours and
textures.
