Born: 1958, Malaysia. Self-taught artist and painter. Studied Advanced Counselling and Child
Psychology. Have been a Designer, Art Director and Professional Illustrator. Started
scribbling and drawing "abstract" since young.
It was only a few years ago that I started painting seriously. Being an illustrator was
completely different as there were too many restrictions. Painting, on the other hand, is a
free form of expression, free from all restrictions, irrespective of what others may think.
I try to keep my works simple and colorful, and encourage others to explore, use their
imagination, and do the interpretation whenever possible. Different minds perceive things
differently. Different minds see a different story.
I am still experimenting with various forms and styles to see where it takes me as being an
artist is an endless journey. To date, I have sold my prints and original paintings to friends
and collectors from the U.S., S.Korea, Germany, Singapore and Australia. In Malaysia, my works
can be found in private companies, art galleries, associations and homes of private
collectors.
