I work mainly in stoneware clay, and I prefer handbuilding although I also throw functional
ware on the wheel. I have been experimenting with wirecutting and using additives with clay
for texture.
I began pottery lessons at evening classes when I was 15, acheiving 'A' levels in 3 years. In
the 90s I took pottery at evening classes once again, leading to opening a small home studio
in 2001.
I am currently following a distance honours degree course in Ceramics at the Glasgow School
of Art in Scotland and am in the 4th year of the 6 year course.
I have taken part in various exhibitions in Malta and Gozo,and ina two week showing in a
gallery in Glasgow together with my course colleagues.
