Auckland, New Zealand based Joanne Wedding creates her artworks with a variety of mixed
media including watercolour, acrylic, various texture mediums and resin. Continuously
experimenting with different methods of combining and using new materials, her artwork is
built up of many layers, over many weeks, resulting in a one of a kind unique piece of art.
She is currently studying part-time towards a diploma in Art & Creativity.
Previously working in the fashion industry and with stained glass, light and colour are her
inspiration along with the beautiful New Zealand landscape, the changing colours of the
seasons and the various sporting/outdoor adventure activities she enjoys on a regular
basis.
