Born Port Elizabeth, Eastern Province. Studied graphic fine art (book illustration) at the
Port Elizabeth Technicon,(1975-1978). Obtained National Higher Diploma with distinction,1980.
1995, freelance book illustrator for Heinemann Educational Publishers; 2000, book illustrator
for Macmillan Educational Publishers. 2008, presented linocut printmaking workshop, KV Art
School, Goteborg University, Goteborg, Sweden. 2008, research article published, ‘Frank
Pickford Marriott – A Post-Pre-Raphaelite, 1871-1935', Looking Back, Volume 47, a
journal of the Port Elizabeth Historical Society.
Currently employed by the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality as Library Promotions Officer (1984-
) and Arts Co-ordinator for the Gelvandale/Chatty Library Community Development Project (a
project which developed from the Goteborg Partnership 2005- 2009).

My linocuts are hand printed on good quality paper, and prefer to produce work in small and
limited editions to maintain exclusivity.
