I love being on my own, in my own peaceful frame of mind when Painting. Its like a special
zone. Away from everything. In that I find myself drawn into my subject. I find it difficult
to let go of my artwork as each one is a part of me. I cant paint when my frame of mind isn't
right.
My hubby calls me "the paparazzi" Im in love with my camera, everything I capture
is set in a potential painting in my mind. I can stare at it for hours in advance, studying
the shades, shadows, shapes etc. I don't paint from the photo though as it kills the
"life" within it. I've set my computer screen next to my easel.
Being a mother of 3 boys I've made art my me-time.
