Tienie Pritchard became well known as South African Sculptor of monumental public commissions
like the George Harrison in Setlers' Park, Johannesburg and the fountain of the Waternymphs at
the mineral water resort in Bela Bela. He is primarily known as a sculptor of the classical
nude, a passion he has been following for the past 42 years. His oevre is representative of
the nude as a form of art in itself and he uses the nude to depict a large range of conceps,
often mystical or historical.
