My work is all about discovery. The creatures in my paintings discover their world while i
discover things about myself by looking at them.The viewer discovers a sometimes strange but
always slightly optimistic world.
My creatures develop, grow and change as i see them emerge on the paper in front of
me. Often i see new aspects long after ive finished an image. To my surprise sees the
viewer often something totally different as i did.
When i finish a painting i like to keep it around me for a while. I know i can enjoy it for a
while, but it is best for them if they get a new place to be.Wether it is on a prominent place
in the living room or a modest place in a hallway the piece will now and then surprise the new
owner and give him or her some kind of insight.
