Art is essential to my life. I paint, shoot, sculpt, and write. Most of my visuals are done
in a series. I like to take a simple idea and drain it of every ounce of inspiration. It
provides an interesting path which I don't try to analyze until the entire series is
completed. Even then the series provides surprises to me. Inspiration often overwhelms me. It
can arrive in a new paint, a color, a technique, an object, a novel tool, and more often than
not, a feeling. Ultimately I need to make a decision on what to become swept away by. Time to
focus. Focusing, for me, is the most difficult part, but once I am "inside" the
series I am at total attention.

Maps of the Universe - 60 pieces - Mixed media abstracts on unraveling the wonders of the
Universe.
Hit or Miss - 32 pieces - Autobiographical collage.
The Sacred & Arcane - 13 pieces - Mixed media striking into the Magical.
Remote Viewing - 41 pieces - Charcoal drawings from the edge of Planet Earth.
CaffeineNation - ongoing series - 2-minute portraits
In a Time of War - 36 pieces - Painting done while in treatment for cancer.
Betraying Picasso - 22 pieces - Nudes done in oils
