Joey Thate was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He has spent most of his life in Florida where
he became interested in the arts at the age of seven. He has displayed art around the United
States and has sold works internationally. He studied art at Daytona State College.He
currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida
