Lorraine Watry as a watercolor artist and illustrator frequently depicts quiet, peaceful

painting style that can be classified as colorfully idealized realism. Her use of vibrant
colors, strong lights and darks, and detailed patterning in her watercolor painting makes her
work an excellent choice for many applications. Lorraine is an award winner with paintings
juried into many National and International shows. Lorraine enjoys passing on her knowledge of
watercolor and has taught classes from beginner to advanced. Although Lorraine loves to
express her vision through watercolor, she is also adept at creating commercial works with
computer graphics and readily communicates the vision of her clientele.
