Asymmetry
Asymmetry is the relation of two qualities which have no common measure and has two possible meanings in art:

1 - Symmetrical balance is retained but the fragments of the design are so disposed that at first sight their seems to be no symmetrical balance.

2 - The shapes and the forces are so disposed that no possible symmetry can be arrived at, but a balance is achieved.
