Space Two-dimensional Art
Can be actual or an illusion. In painting it is usually the latter, which relies on the use of
pictorial devices for its realisation.
Space Three-dimensional Art
The voids among the material components of a piece of sculpture, including holes, cavities and gaps.
Spaces are portions of space having a certain size and form, for instance the interior of a room, the
inside of a cup, or te hole in a doughnut.
Spatial dimensions refer to height, width and depth of an art work.
