The Engel Gallery, founded in 1955 in Jerusalem, has always expressed an interest in unique Israeli Art. The gallery started to show artists such as: Zaritzky, Mokadi, Levanon, Litvinovsky , Bergner, Mairowitz, Steimaztky, Castel and Anna Ticho. At the same time the Gallery sought young talent on the local Israeli art scene, and promising talents such as Mordechai Moreh, Danny Cafri, Uri Lifshitz, Meseg, Yaacov Agam were extensively exhibited at the gallery.
