As a school of photography,
and resource centre for practising photographers, the Market Photo Workshop has played an
integral role in the training and growth of South Africa's photographers for twenty years;
ensuring that visual literacy reaches those in neglected and marginalised parts of our society.
Informing photographers, visual artists, educators, students and the broader community of the
trends, issues and debates in photographic practice, the Market Photo Workshop is an agent of
change and representation in the continued development of South Africa’s visual
poets.
