One of the most established Contemporary Art galleries in Singapore, Art Forum was founded in 1971 by
renowned local art expert Marjorie Chu. It is located in a restored two storey terrace house on
Cairnhill Road and features high quality affordable artwork of more than 150 artists mainly from
Southeast Asia.
In the last 40 years it has built up an impressive track record of identifying and promoting the early
works of notable artists whose work can now be found in major collections such as the Singapore Art
Museum and The National Art Gallery of Singapore.
Today, Art Forum continues to support and showcase the work of promising young artists that include a
diverse selection of paintings, photography, sculptures and ceramics, which are exhibited on a
rotating basis.
