La Familia Gallery was founded in 2005 by Lanae Rivers-Woods. Located in the Tashiro-Kaplin
building in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, La Familia focuses on where fine art,
music, literature and performance intersect. Dedicated to diversity, creativity, and education, La
Familia offers up-and-coming Member Artists a space to create and market passionate projects that
reflect a unique blend of style and messaging.
Mission Statement:
La Familia is a nonprofit artist-run exhibition space dedicated to furthering the visibility of the
arts across cultures and communities from emerging artists.
