Over the past 13 years, Gallery On The Square has established itself as one of South Africa's leading fine art galleries. It showcases a diverse range of South African and international fine art, sculpture, and ceramics, as well as supporting various local development projects.

Gallery On The Square strives to promote a cross section of established and emerging South African artists across a variety of disciplines. Drawing on the ever-growing South African art market, the gallery has earned itself a reputation for providing a warm, relaxed atmosphere in which patrons, artists and collectors can experience and enjoy art.

Among the various development projects the gallery supports are: MonkeyBiz, the Mapula Embroidery Project, and the internationally-renowned Ardmore Ceramic Studio. The gallery has helped bridge the gap between what is considered as craft and fine art by offering the atrists of these projects a showcase for their vibrantm often unusual works.

The gallery also keeps up-to-date with the international art market by selecting and selling signed, limited edition graphics by some of the world’s leading 20th century artists such as Chagall, Jim Dine, David Hockney, Marino Marini, Miró, Henry Moore and Picasso.
