Historical Artist - Edmund Dulac (1882 - 1953)
French artist Edmund Dulac moved to England in 1905, becoming a citizen in 1912. He was
primarily a book illustrator, mostly working on fairy tales and legends. In addition, he was a
caricaturist, portraitist, sculptor, and designer. In 1953, he designed a stamp for the
coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
