I graduated from: The Federal Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State. Nigeria. With an Upper in fine art in 1995/96.
In the late 90s / year 2000, I began experimenting with ink, watercolor, Acrylic ink water based oil color as a medium. I later discovered it was easy to manipulate the “Uli Designs” a form of Abstract expression (the use of African motif) of the prehistoric people of the Uli people of the Western Nigeria, used to decorate walls, bodies of maiden etc. that is still practiced till date. I went back in time to have an infusion into my work. It now became my medium of expression the colors often used are green, brown and yellow ochre. Which signifies nature, people and the environment.
The themes varies from family values, culture to immediate environment. Here below I have some of the works.
