I was brought up in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, and currently reside in Stoke in Staffordshire. I am visual artist. My work tends to deal with bold, vibrant , expressive and colorful style that explores everyday objects like magazines. I then take these everyday objects and manipulate them to create collages, prints and paintings . Color seems to be an important part of my practice. Art has always been something that I do whether academically, or in my spare time. My practise is mainly inspired by surrealism, pop art and expressive painting...

Ann Marie IRVINE - United Kingdom Artist, Pen and Ink Drawings
Working mainly in pen and ink, I have a unique drawing style which I refer to simply as doodling. I have developed this unique style since early childhood, and even today my drawings begin as a doodle which is transformed into a unique creation. These days the doodles are still developing as much as they did when I was a child and my work is constantly changing to include new ideas. The use of colour in my recent work is limited to the small areas of the drawings where magic has occured, and all the drawings hold a story with a happy ending...
